The Global Remote – Article Automation
An article automation for The Global Remote, connecting topic research and duplicate filtering to writing, quality checks, publishing, and recovery.
n8n workflow design and implementation, including connected services, conditional routing, and exception handling.
Actual workflow screenshots. Private executions and records are not public.
Actual n8n editor revision in progress, captured October 5, 2026. The workflow is marked Published in the overview, but this revision may differ. No records, credentials, execution outputs, or live-test results are shown.
The challenge
A recurring article workflow needs to validate research, avoid repeating existing topics, and check content before it reaches WordPress.
What I built
- Scheduled topic research followed by parsing, filtering, and validation.
- Existing-post checks and new-topic filtering before preparing an article request.
- Writing and source selection, quality and publishing gates, image preparation, WordPress publishing, and reporting, with retry and draft-recovery paths.
Key implementation decisions
Filter topics before writing
Topic validation and existing-post checks precede article preparation.
Keep checks visible
The canvas separates quality checks, publishing gates, and recovery paths so the decision points are inspectable.
The result
The workflow is marked Published in the n8n overview. These screenshots show its current editor revision, which is in progress and may differ from the published version.
